Twelve Lessons – A 5-Session Course on Interaction With Police

Historically, the poor and minority citizens of this country have been treated quite differently by police than others. There is a battle going on for the rights of the public, especially African Americans, in the inner city. The police are viewed as an enemy to many of the citizens they are sworn to protect. How do we change the interactions between the police and the people so that everyone is treated with respect AND we are protected? Is it possible? Where do we begin? What should you do to get home safely so that you can add your voice where it counts?
